    Cute little cheese shop and sandwich place. Nice variety of cheeses. Cute 4 year old to entertain you while you wait. Looking forward to lunch there soon

    This review seems way out of line compared to most of the other reviews for this place. Now, I would have given them easily 4 stars. Cute little store that has been arranged in a very eye appealing way.

    Great selections of jams and oils and a good variety of other canned goods. some items you can even sample. The deli has a great selection of cheese, and I love to sample a new good cheese.

    So, why the negative review. We were in this place almost 15 minutes. Sampling, talking, browsing, questioning each other and the entire time we were in the store, not a single employee ever emerged from where ever they might have been. The upstairs restaurant area looked closed.There was a back area that was kind of behind the counter that didn't seem like anyone was there. We couldn't have bought anything if we wanted to. Too bad, this place seemed kind of cool. If they weren't available and were short staffed they should have put up a sign or something to let customers now that they shouldn't waste their time coming in.

    I noticed this place online and thought it would be a fun place to stop by. The restaurant upstairs is small and quaint, run by its owners. Went in with my parents and had a really good Reuben sandwich on pumpernickel bread. The highlight of the restaurant was the potato salad, the owner told us it was her grandmothers recipe. It was some of the best potato salad I've had in my life. I would go back just to eat that again.

    The restaurant space has only 8 tables so not good for larger parties. We ordered sandwiches to go, but deli sandwiches took over 20 mins to get, so this is not a good place for larger parties and if you're looking for a quick deli sandwich meal.

    This is my favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg. I have never been disappointed. The prices are great and the portions are plentiful. The staff are very courteous, personable, and professional. The place has a real old world feel and due to its location and size feels removed from the hustle and bustle of the main drag. I have recommended this place to many others. It's been around 50 years so obviously they are doing something right!
